Empowering Tribal Communities Through Sustainable Development and Indigenous Knowledge.

Mr. Jayesh Joshi is committed to improving the lives of children, women, and farmers in the tribal Bhil community of Southern Rajasthan and nearby regions in Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Since 2001, he has championed sustainable development through local resources and indigenous knowledge, inspired by the Gandhian philosophy and the concept of Vasudev Kutumbakam. Starting with just 15 marginalized farmers, he now aims to reach 1 lakh tribal farmers across 1,000 villages, promoting sustainable agriculture, leadership, and community development through various initiatives and models.

Agriculture and Nutrition

Mr. Jayesh Joshi promotes sustainable development by introducing innovative farming techniques like multi-cropping, line sowing, and mini-sprinkler technology. His efforts improve income, nutrition, and empower tribal families through orchards, goat rearing, and kitchen gardens.

Governance

Mr. Jayesh Joshi empowers tribal communities through initiatives like Virasat Swaraj Yatra and Shramik Swaraj Abhiyan, promoting indigenous practices and sustainable farming. He has trained 5,000 volunteers, established 26 tribal organizations, and advocates for tribal rights at international platforms like the UN.

Child Rights

In August 2021, Mr. Jayesh Joshi led the **Poshan Swaraj Abhiyan**, benefiting 67,000 children. He improved education access for 53,200 tribal children, helped 41,000 access social security, and empowered 1,243 women to tackle malnutrition.
